The 2009 Hudson Valley Ribfest will be bigger and better than ever! With more vendors, more delicious food, shorter lines, great music, fun kids activities, more contest teams, and our great backyard BBQ atmosphere, this year’s event will be the place to be for the entire family.

- Saturday August 15 from 11am-10pm
- (New England Barbecue Society Grilling Competition 12pm-2pm)
- Sunday August 16 from 11am-5pm
- (Kansas City Barbeque Society Barbeque Competition 12pm-2pm)

- Ulster County Fairgrouds - 249 Libertyville Road, New Paltz, NY 12561
- Entry is still $5 per person per day (kids 12 and under are free)

Judging the Contest
If you are interested in judging the NEBS grilling contest on Saturday, August 15 or the KCBS BBQ contest on Sunday, August 16, please fill out the form below and email to judges@hudsonvalleyribfest.org.
You MUST be a KCBS Certified Judge to register.

2009 KCBS Judging Class
The Highland Rotary Club is hosting a KCBS Judging Class on March 28th, 2009 in Highland, NY.
Prepare now, join the Kansas City Barbecue Society and become a Certified KCBS Judge. Kansas City Barbeque Society representatives Linda and Jerry Mullane will take you through the steps needed to judge the various categories of barbeque meat entries. Once certified, you will be able to judge at any KCBS contest around the country, including our Hudson Valley RibFest in August of 2009.
